Wedding Images with Impact | Best of Weddings 2012

2012 took us on a wild ride. We were primarily in Grand Rapids, but a few couples took us around the Midwest on some fun adventures. We are excited to put together our favorite images from 2012 in the wedding category. We took care of 15 couples this year as they said their "I Do's" in front of friends and family. Some were local in Grand Rapids and we enjoyed meeting with them on a regular basis to help plan their wedding day. Others we did not meet face to face until their wedding day. They came back for their Grand Rapids wedding from places like Washington DC, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Franklin, TN.

Regardless if they were here locally or at a distance, these couples received a great wedding website that allowed them to put all their wedding details online, including their engagement photos, wedding day details and even have guests RSVP directly from their website! In the digital age we are in, this one stop site is a great resource for any engaged couple.

The images below are some of our favorites and we feel they tell the story of the wedding day. From wedding days that were crazy and loud to others that were reserved and simple, we loved spending time with each of them.

Having studied history at Michigan State University, I have realized after all these years that I found a profession that does exactly what I love: documenting people's lives through individual events that are unique to them.

Each of these couples will look back on these images 5, 10, 50 or even 100 years from now (their grandchildren) and remember what each of these couples was like during a brief moment in time.
