Many times clients have us out for multi-day events or shoots, but have you ever wondered what can be done with 1 hour of photo time?
There are so many organizations that would benefit by having professional photography in Grand Rapids, but don’t know where to start.
This is the first installment of a new series, “What Can Be Done With 1 Hour Of Photo Time…” and the first case study is a Holland, Michigan based retail business, Poppin Huis.
Their website states, ”The Poppin Huis is your go-to for all things gourmet popcorn, candy, and one-of-a-kind gifts. A little salty and a little sweet together make the best treat! “
As we discussed what their needs were, they mentioned needing photos of some of their most popular food and clothing products.
In addition to offering popcorn and sweet treats, the retail location also carries Super Jay, a “brand created to celebrate the fact that we are all created to be just exactly as we are.”
In addition to product photography, the store owners wanted a few photos of their newly renovated space to share on social media.
With the store being family owned (3 different couples came together to purchase the business), they wanted to capture their families in the newly renovated space.
In addition to group photos, we made sure to capture each of the couples together as well (as well as Jay, the son of Ben and Katie, who is the inspiration behind the “Super Jay” brand).
While shooting images at Poppin Huis, a few folks took some “behind the scenes” images during our 1 hour session and you’ll see all the different things going on in a short amount of time.
