Grand Rapids Spring Engagement Photos | Brad + Leigha

Spring is an interesting time for engagement photos in Grand Rapids. Trees are without leaves (therefore very little green), there might be snow on the ground and proper attire can vary from heavy jacket to t-shirt. This is especially true with Brad and Leigha's session as we had to reschedule due to a spring snow storm. :-(

Leigha reached out and told me, "We already feel way behind for engagement photos, can we make something work soon?"

I responded with an emphatic "YES!". We are here to take care of couple's needs and make sure they look and feel confident in front of the camera!

Leigha suggested meeting on the Kent Trails pedestrian bridge, which turned out to be a fantastic location even without all the green trees. Though the trees did not have leaves yet, the bridge's structure provided a fantastic backdrop (as you'll see below).

Following the bridge we trekked to Millenium Park for a few images in the tall grass (yes, we did find some to use) and some great overlooks of the park. Though the locations are only 10 minutes apart, it feels like two completely different sessions!
