Travis + Heather | Wedding Photos at Boys & Girls Club Retreat Center

Photographing Travis and Heather's wedding at the Boys & Girls Club Retreat Center in Hastings, Michigan was the culmination of a year plus journey with these two as a couple. We originally met last summer as they were planning their wedding day. We found out they had been together for over 10 years and in the process had three sons during that time. Their wedding day was a day to bring together their relationship, their boys, their family and friends at one location to celebrate their wedding. In case you don't remember their winter engagement photos, we met them at the Gilmore Car Museum and wandered around the grounds for some fantastic portraits of these two. On their wedding day they took the energy level up a notch. With a first look at the old Barry County Courthouse Fountain in downtown Hastings, these two had a wonderful moment together and then some time for some great portraits all on their own.

Following a 15 minute drive to the Boys & Girls Club Retreat Center, where their wedding party was waiting, we found a couple of great spots on the property with shade to keep not only the bride and groom cool, but the entire wedding party. We were able to schedule time for both the guys, girls and the wedding party together for photos prior to the ceremony. This meant once the ceremony rolled around, it was all downhill from there. Just a few family portraits following the ceremony, a quick stop down the road at a field for wedding party photos, the next thing Travis and Heather knew, they were walking into their reception to celebrate with friends and family.
