Runway for Fashion Show | Grand Rapids Fashion Photography
The Runway for Charity show featured three different 'circus' themed rooms. The largest space was the big-top tent that featured entertainment from the Daredevil Circus out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The fashion was spectacular from AK Rikk's. Hair by Design 1 Salon was out of this world and makeup by Aura Skincare and Cosmetics took the looks of all the Matthew Agency models over the top. The event did not have a traditional runway, but featured three different posing areas for groups of 6 models. Each group spent about 5 minutes in each room which meant everyone in attendance was able to experience the fashion show regardless of where they spent the evening.
Our team of photographers (4 of us in total) covered the event in all 3 rooms. We put together a collection of images that will help Design 1 Salon and Aura Skincare and Cosmetics remember the day and show off the capabilities of all their talented artists. The single evening event, despite the rain, raised over $310,000 for Helen DeVos Children's Hospital at Spectrum Health.
