Justin + Julie | Wedding at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids
We love photographing weddings at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids. It is our home church after all. It gets even better when we can photograph the wedding celebrations of people we have known for a while.
We have known Julie for a while. We met through her parents, Chuck and Brenda who attend Calvary as well.
Julie is a sweetheart of a woman. She is an elementary school teacher, which means you know she's pretty much a saint.
She and Justin met online several years ago and through the years their relationship blossomed. She became a second mom to Justin's son, Lucas and they now live in the greater Detroit area.
The wedding day that Justin and Julie planned was simple.
Less than 60 guests.

Travel down to Charley's Crab for dinner and drinks (who doesn't like filet and lobster tail for dinner, right?).
Have a horse drawn carriage pick up Justin and Julie, taking them to the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
When we are part of smaller weddings like Justin and Julie's, it reminds us that fewer guests means the bride and groom can greet everyone in attendance and have meaningful conversations with their closest family and friends.
