After A Fall and Winter Season, The Shipping Container Studio has moved to Downtown Grand Rapids!
The experiment of a studio in a shipping container in Sparta, Michigan went well. We served families and businesses that we would have never been able to serve otherwise.
As of January 2021, the studio has moved back to a traditional space based in downtown Grand Rapids.
We are still able to offer low priced session fees and create amazing images for our clients.
Owned by Tiberius Images, The Shipping Container Studio was a great experiment that we are thankful for.

Our sitting fee is a standard $39 and includes our time in the studio. Additional items are purchased ala carte following you studio session.

Treats are from a local West Michigan pastry chef and you’re welcome to request specific flavors.
Session Experience
Parking and arrival is easy in downtown Sparta. Make your way to the custom built deck where we will greet you for your session. We are minimalists at heart, so setup is minimal (but effective) and the small space means your family will be together during the session.
Would you like individuals of each of your children? Perhaps you and each of your children? All of you together? We will make sure to capture them all during your session at The Shipping Container Studio.
Who Will Take Your Photos?
We have three photographers taking care of clients at The Shipping Container Studio: Russ, Rebecca and Lucy.
Photographer and baker Lucy has been shooting professionally for four years. Specializing in families, children and themed photo shoots, she is looking forward to meeting the many new clients that this studio will attract.
On a personal note, Russ, Rebecca and their son Bruce live next door to Lucy, who they say is one of their son’s most favorite people. She is his “Lulu”.
What Will You Receive After Your Session?
Once your session concludes, you will receive an online proofing gallery of our favorite images from your session. You will then choose your favorite images from the online gallery. We will provide full, professional editing for your the images you choose and deliver downloadable, high resolution images.
