Lou + Stephanie | Grand Rapids Wedding at Noto's Old World
If you've followed our blog over the past few months, you were probably jealous of Lou and Stephanie's engagement photos in Miami during the snowiest January we've seen in decades. Their engagement session on the beach was beautiful and though their Grand Rapids wedding day was surrounded by colder temperatures and snow, none of those details mattered - Lou and Stephanie were getting married! Stephanie planned a wonderful wedding ceremony at Kuyper College on the north side of Grand Rapids. Prior to the ceremony these two held an intimate "first look" where they settled down the butterflies (slightly). Their ceremony included their siblings and friends from around the country (Lou is originally from New Jersey), along with a niece and a nephew who stole the show during the processional (who doesn't love watching kids during a wedding).
Following their heartfelt vows and a little time for family portraits, Lou and Stephanie were courageous enough to venture outside for some winter photos. After engagement photos in Miami, the images of these two outside are a great contrast to the photos earlier this year.
Following their time outside, it was off to Noto's for a fantastic reception in the 2nd floor ballroom that had just been remodeled. Noto's is a wonderful place and always has taken the best care of the couples that hire them. Their ballrooms have always been amazing, but since their remodel, they've taken them to the next level. In addition to the ballrooms, they also have an amazing wine cellar that reminds us of wine tasting rooms in Italy. The facility has amazing space for photographs and Lou and Stephanie were all about photography time with their wedding party. Following the photo time was a great meal and entertainment followed by a sparkler send off to close out the night!
