After working so hard to find the perfect outfits, a stunning setting, and booking a photo session, it’s now time to decide how you would like to appear. A bold smoky eye, daring wings, going natural, or any other makeup style, may be on your mind. And, let’s not forget an appealing hairstyle too!
With many ways that you could appear throughout your own business photos, you may be in need of a little inspiration. After all, you will want to present your best self throughout each and every image captured!
We believe that everyone should feel comfortable and confident when having their business photos captured! That’s why, here at Tiberius Images, as Grand Rapids business photographers, we have gathered some beauty tips to keep in mind for your own photo session. Would you like to discover what these tips are? If so, be sure to read on:
Hydrate. It is well known that water is key to your health, and quite useful for many things, such as losing weight and keeping skin vibrant. Keeping your skin hydrated is important, and doing more than drinking water will help. You can use lightweight moisturizers, non-greasy, to keep your skin looking luminescent and flawless. Also, it’s recommended to steer clear of SPF products, as they do not work well with flash photography. Your makeup will be applied easier as hydrated skin pairs well with makeup. Hydrated skin will have you looking young, vibrant, and lively!
Matte skin. It is important that your skin not be shiny, but instead look matte! This may seem like an odd tip, however, if your skin is glossy or shiny, it will surely reflect lights it wasn’t meant to, such as the camera flash. These reflections will show up on your photos and could possibly be very distracting. If you tend to have oily skin, you can use primers or mattifiers to prevent any unwanted shine. Don’t let shiny skin steal the show!
Color. When you imagine your business portraits, you may see a beautiful, radiant image with pink cheeks, perfectly contoured cheek bones, and luscious lips. However, all too often, the makeup just isn’t fitting for the camera and faces become washed out. You can avoid this for your own photos by incorporating enough color into your makeup. This may mean that you will need to step it up with your contouring, lips, eyebrows, and blush in order for them to translate well throughout your business portraits.
Your business photo session is your time to shine! Don’t you want to look your absolute best? If so, be sure to keep these tips in mind.
