Over the past decade we have photographed weddings around the Midwest and our favorite brides to work with come to us knowing our style of photography and how we work. The best brides are usually referrals that have been part of a wedding we've photographed or are friends with someone we've worked with. Malorie was just that. During the 2013 wedding season, we photographed a Nick and Sam's great Michigan barn wedding at Mill Creek. When Malorie called asking about photography options, we knew it would be great working with her and her family again. They even contacted us before they had a wedding date finalized or a location, in order to ask what 2014 wedding dates we still had available.
Troy and Malorie held both their wedding ceremony and reception at Grand Ledge Country Club in Grand Ledge. The outdoor space below a beautiful tree and pergola was wonderful for their ceremony, conducted by Malorie's grandfather. Following their ceremony, family photos and wedding party photos were quick as we did not have to travel far for great locations around the club.
The wedding was filled with wonderful details from cake, flowers, sunglasses for guests and more! The dance floor was full throughout the evening and they led the way, outside of the 5 minutes I grabbed them for photos during sunset.
Below is just a preview of their wedding day, if you would like to view their complete gallery, be sure to visit their custom wedding website.
