We have had the pleasure of getting to know Matt and Kristine over the course of the past couple of decades. I first knew Matt while we were both in middle school. We spent some time together, but eventually life took us in different directions. I first met Kristine when she was a guest at the very first wedding I photographed backed in 2005. Little did I know that a few years later I would be photographing her wedding day to a young man I had known for many years. In addition, both had been part of weddings that we have photographed since 2005 and we even were able to grab a photo with the "4 Tiberius Images brides" who were all together on their wedding day.
Matt and Kristine's wedding at St. Roberts in Ada was fantastic. Surrounded by friends and family and having planned for over a year, their wedding was nothing short of spectacular! Matt was even able to duplicate a photo from his own parent's wedding day where he gave the camera the "thumbs up" as he walked out of the church with Kristine on his arm.
Following time at Bistro Bella Vita (where these two had their first date), the blue bridge in downtown Grand Rapids and a simple location near the arena downtown, Matt and Kristine headed off to their rocking reception at the University Club in downtown Grand Rapids. The evening was filled with toasts that were not only heartfelt and touching, but also side splitting funny. As I was photographing the toasts, my sides literally began to hurt because everyone was so funny!
Dancing started with a custom, written and recorded by their great friend Travis Atkinson (check out his work and website) and the night was nothing short of a wonderful party!
