St. George's Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids was the backdrop for John and Nicole committing their lives to one another. Their wedding in Grand Rapids was surrounded by friends and family from around the country. The day began with photos of Nicole and her bridesmaids, followed then by John and his groomsmen. The setting of downtown Grand Rapids was a great spot to put together a set of fun photos for these two.
The wedding ceremony in the Greek Orthodox Church is chanted, aka, read "in tune", and it was a great experience of the traditions of the Greek Orthodox Church to see these two commit their lives to one another.
Following family photos and a few formal images, we headed to Ah-nab-awen Park in downtown Grand Rapids along with the 6th Street Park further north along the river for some fun images of John and Nicole along with their wedding party. They were traveling around in the Grand Rapids Trolley and had a wonderful time being chauffeured around the downtown area, eventually ending at their reception at the Grand Rapids Hilton.
Guests were greeted at the wedding reception by a coffee table that John had created over the past few months that guests were asked to sign. That coffee table now proudly sits in their home as a great memory of their wedding day. Dancing and fun were had by all late into the evening with entertainment provided by Lakeshore Audio and Entertainment.
