When we ask the question "how did you two meet?", many couples have a cute story about how they met through friends, at a party or even online. Mike and Tara are no different. These two met at work. It just so happens that they both work at Costco. These two met, began dating and we were there to capture the happily ever after moments of their wedding day. We first met Tara through one of my cousins (who was also a bridesmaid -- thanks Mandra for connecting us!). It was great to see some of our family involved in the wedding, especially their oldest daughter who was the flower girl! Their ceremony was held at the First Church of the Nazarene in Northville, Michigan. The ceremony was intimate and these two were able to have a former youth pastor come into town to marry the two of them. It was such a great touch during the ceremony. Following the ceremony we headed for downtown Northville, which was a photographer's dream when it comes to fun locations all within walking distance. We grabbed some fun photos of not only the entire wedding party, but especially of Mike and Tara as we wandered around the downtown area.
Following downtown Northville, we of course had to stop at the Costco where these two first met. Have you ever been to a Costco on a Saturday late afternoon? Let's just say the place was 'somewhat' busy and they were congratulated just a few times. Following photos on location we headed to their wedding reception at Warren Valley Golf Course where we wandered around the property for a few minutes grabbing a few fun photos, especially of Mike and Tara "playing golf" (see sequence below). Entertainment for the evening was provided by DJ Joey A of Sonik Armada, who was a great emcee throughout the evening.
