We meet couples many different ways. Some couples find us through a Google search. Others find us through Facebook as they look through photos. But by far, the best way we can connect with the couples that fit our style of wedding photography is when someone we know personally promotes our work to a friend. When that friend contacts us, 99% of the time they are exactly the type of couple that we love getting to know and working with. Sam and Melissa are one of the those couples.
They were referred to us through a mutual friend who suggested we contact Melissa about her wedding day and if we could possibly help out with either photography or even by answering some planning questions she had. We were happy to do so and in the process were able to meet with Sam and Melissa. During our time together we talked about what they wanted for their wedding and engagement photos, all while looking through a few wedding albums. We are so glad they chose us for their wedding photography needs.
The planning for their engagement session began during our initial meeting. Melissa wanted photos on the beach at Grand Haven and we planned a sunset session once the weather turned warmer. Though their day was slightly cooler than they probably would have liked, it was a gorgeous sunset that helped us create some dramatic photos for these two.
Take a look below at just a few images from the session and if you would like to see the complete gallery, be sure to visit their custom built wedding website.
And by the way, be sure to leave a comment at the end of the post and let them know which photos are your favorite!
