Fusion EPIC! Summit 2016 | Grand Rapids Event Photography
Fusion Education Group is has a model that is like none I've ever seen before. They are creating schools where students and teachers work one on one.
Yes, you heard that right - one student working with one teacher.
It just so happens the headquarters for the company is in the same building we live in downtown Grand Rapids. They have a wonderful team to fill their Grand Rapids office while serving students around the country. Through a referral we were able to photograph their EPIC! Summit being held in Grand Rapids.
The highlight of the three day summit was the Fusion Awards given to the top performing schools from around the country.
The event was held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, where a cocktail reception kicked off the night, followed by one of the key moments of the evening, a GROUP PHOTO with over 200 people. We were able to use the Imperial Ballroom at the Amway Grand for the team photo, which after just a few clicks of my shutter, lead the Fusion team to dinner in the Pantlind Ballroom.
Dinner was served and enjoyed by all. Following dinner, Fusion's CEO, Peter Ruppert took the stage and announced winners from around the country. Included were a few "above and beyond" awards for team members that took initiative and leadership and have made huge impacts in the Fusion community. The evening ended and group photos ensued outside the ballroom.
As you will see below, the Fusion team likes to have a great time and it was a pleasure getting to know their team and learn about the contributions they are making in the lives of so many students and families around the country!
