Outstanding Growth Awards | Business Portraits for ACG Western Michigan
When we were contacted by ACG Western Michigan to photograph business portraits for two Grand Rapids based businesses being honor at the 2016 Outstanding Growth Awards, we were very excited for the opportunity. OST, an IT solutions company based in Grand Rapids, was named the 2016 winner for the ACG Outstanding Growth Award. Comfort Research, a furniture design and manufacturing company based in Grand Rapids was a finalist for the 2016 award as well. Knowing the event would have a program, ACG wanted to include photos of both companies with their business profiles. ACG worked with a local writer to create the profiles and then directed us on the type of photos that would work best for the program. The profiles were to highlight the teams of both companies and the people responsible for making their growth happen.
We first coordinated schedules with the CEOs of both companies. We planned on 1 hour of photography on site for each company. 30 minutes to scout locations and setup for portraits and 30 minutes with the subjects we were to photograph.
By scheduling the photo sessions with each company independently, we provided freedom for ACG Western Michigan.
We enjoy capturing the people who are dedicated to their work and who sacrifice so much in order to make their companies a success. We love hearing success stories of so many in the Grand Rapids business community. Our goal is to create images that convey a powerful message and we feel we achieved that for both of these companies.
