Deb Minton, owner and founder of Philanthropia Partners in Grand Rapids, helps non-profit organizations become better. She has been in the world of development for over 25 years and she has the reputation of being the 'go-to' person when in comes to better fundraising in the west Michigan area. We originally met her a couple of years ago when we were asked to photograph a presentation she was making that would create an image library for her updated website and match the new branding she had created for her company. Again this year, a change in location into downtown Grand Rapids lead her to call us and create a new set of images for her and her company.
Philanthropia Partners is now in the new Blue35 space. It is a collaborative space between Haworth and Rockford Construction and takes office space to the next level in downtown Grand Rapids. After being in the space for just a few minutes, I could see why Deb decided to move her office into the space. It creates so many stunning visuals and has so many wonderful spaces for her and her clients, it will definitely be a new asset to her company as she continues to grow.
The original email she sent was a simple one. Something along the lines of "I'm looking for new headshots in my new space..." Following a few emails back and forth, it made sense to schedule a couple of hours in the space with Deb and make sure we could capture not just a great headshot, but also her throughout the space. That included images on the beautiful 9th floor deck that overlooks all of downtown Grand Rapids. From that space, you feel like you could go anywhere in the city. In addition, we added photos of her speaking at the podium, as one of her main roles is as a group presenter.
Deb will now have the image library at her disposal for as long as she needs and it made a couple of hours of investment into her image well worth the time. Now she can position herself as the non-profit development leader in west Michigan and now has the images to prove it!
