Once in a lifetime round of golf...

In case you didn't realize this, but I am a recovering golf-a-holic. With my dad being in the industry, I've had the chance to play some pretty amazing courses around the country. Last week the four Climie men below (l to r - Daniel, Patrick, Lance, Me) were able to play Crystal Downs Country Club near Frankfort, MI. This course is consistently in the top 10 courses in the world and last year was ranked #6 in the USA. It was designed by Alister Mackenzie, the same architect of Augusta National, where the Masters is played. This is a "links" version of Augusta with tons of hills, bunkers and fast greens! I can't imagine Augusta being much more difficult than this course, where the course superintendent told us "keep the ball below the hole". I realized why after my put on number 3 rolled past the hole and off the green! It was an amazing experience that I will not soon forget. If you'd like to see more, shoot me an email at russ@tiberiusimages.com.

The view from #18 - looking back at the pro shop on the left and the original clubhouse on the right!
The original clubhouse from 1929 - still in use! They only close the club down 4 times a year for events, otherwise it's a members only facility.
